The Blackstone Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of global private equity firm Blackstone Group, has issued a Request for Proposals targeting organizations that focus on veterans’ employment and professional development. Through the program, Blackstone will identify organizations and programs that directly support veterans and offer them the opportunity to build successful careers after their active service. Together with the training and support programs Blackstone is developing within its portfolio companies, the Veterans Grants Program is designed to help American veterans transition to private sector employment, adapt their skills, and succeed in new work environments. Grant amounts will range from $10,000 to $50,000.
